The 2025–2029 quality of life and working conditions agreement, signed on 14 October by French energy and nuclear multinational Orano (13,500 employees) and all representative unions (CFDT, CFE-CGC, CGT and FO), strengthens the group’s commitments to supporting employees facing serious illness. It introduces a set of measures aimed at providing "working conditions compatible with their state of health" and thereby promoting job retention.
Effective from 1 December, the agreement builds on a series of previous Orano initiatives dating back to 2012 aimed at improving workplace quality of life and addressing psychosocial risks. It reaffirms its commitment to “creating an inclusive and caring work environment” and aims to enable employees affected by a serious illness to continue working “in the best possible conditions” if their doctor allows it.
