France: overview of the new provisions on apprenticeship, monitoring internships and labor leasing

Increasing quotas of work/study trainees.  The bill adopted on July 13th (see our dispatch No.  110393) provides that apprentices can now sign an apprenticeship contract with two employers at the same time.  Indeed, Article 3 of the text reads that, “for seasonal activities […], two employers may jointly sign an apprenticeship contract” with a single apprentice.  Besides, temporary work agencies are now allowed to sign apprenticeship contracts.
