The pharmaceutical group Pierre Fabre Laboratories (5,500 employees in France) and the CFE-CGC, CFTC, CGT, FO and Solidaires trade unions have signed a new three-year company agreement on disability and carers. This text, which came into force on 15 February, introduces new measures aimed at keeping people with disabilities in work, including the implementation of a process for monitoring long absences.
On 30 January, Pierre Fabre Laboratories signed a thirteenth company agreement on disability. This text reaffirms the policy pursued by the company for some 30 years and includes a commitment to maintaining an employment rate for people with disabilities of over 6% (6.19% in 2023, the latest published figure). It also introduces new measures aimed at encouraging employees benefiting from the obligation to employ disabled workers (BOETH) to stay in or return to work.
