On 18 February, Gamesa, the Spanish wind turbine manufacturer, signed a global framework agreement with IndustriALL Global Union, the trade union federation, and Spanish trade unions. The group has employees on nearly every continent and this agreement is a first in the renewable energy sector. It aims to strengthen social and environmental aspects of the group's Code of Conduct, whilst ensuring that commitments shall be respected through international social dialog.
