Gaz de France: agreement on social responsibility

Whereas the merger of the French groups Gaz de France and Suez should be final in June, Gaz de France's management and union organizations are currently bargaining for an agreement on social responsibility, applicable to European staff, which should be adopted at the beginning of June. Negotiations started, on April 7, between
Gaz de France’s management and a group of negotiators appointed by the European
trade union federations concerned, the EPSU and the EMCEF, from their affiliated
national organizations. “This negotiation is organized by the two European trade
union federations, which created a discussion group with representatives of
their members. We are notably working with British, Belgian, Hungarian
and Romanian colleagues, and Italian and German reps should join us
