Germany: 2016 working time report published
Germany’s federal agency, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has published its ‘2016 report on working time’, which studied working time across the country including flexible working time and how it affects workers’ health. The report revealed that more than a third of part-time workers would like to work longer. Employment Minister Andrea Nahles (SPD) announced she would present a draft law that will instigate the right to return to full time work for those working on a part-time basis.
