On 27 November, Germany’s Federal Cabinet adopted a bill on the obligation to comply with industry-level collective agreements when awarding federal public contracts. The aim is to combat wage dumping, strengthen the weight of collective agreements and place companies participating in calls for tender on an equal footing.
