Whereas Verdi and the 9,000 German employees of the world leader in e-commerce, Amazon, have been fighting since the beginning of the year over the improvements of pay and adoption of the sector’s collective agreements, the company confirmed, on Monday, October 7, that 3 big sorting centers were going to open in Poland. The company promises that this won’t lead to any closures in Germany but the biggest clients of the Polish centers are mostly… Germans, and eastern Europeans!
