On the occasion of the presentation of annual results to the press and to analysts, on March 1, 2007, René Obermann, Deutsche Telekom's chair, presented its new strategy, confirming the transfer of 50,000 employees to T-Service, a new subsidiary. The day before, 13,000 people demonstrated in Bonn's streets to object to the plan. Unions are accusing the management of lying about the figures. (Ref. 070190)
