The coalition in power has a project to make it possible for employers to conclude with new recruits a probation period which can go up to 24 months, instead of six months maximum in the current legislation. Companies will thus be able to fire an employee without motivation during this period. But there will be a counterpart: rules applying to fixed-term contracts will be toughened, in order to diminish their use.
