…Germany: IG Metall and Nokia’s WC to fight
Whereas Nokia's management already started to dismiss some of the approximately 1.000 temp workers it employs at Bochum, the IG Metall and the WC announced that they want to fight "at all costs" to keep the Bochum site. On January 22, a giant demonstration will take place in front of the doors of the threatened factory. Unions are also asking for a revision of the law on joint management. (Ref. 080052)
