After breaking off, on January 16, 2009, the 3rd negotiation round with Lufthansa, the independent flight attendants' union, Ufo (Unabhängige Flugbegleiter Organisation e. V.), warned that it was going to launch warning strikes soon if the management doesn't better its offer. The largest airline in Germany proposes a wage increase around 10% for all its flight attendants for 14 months. Ufo, which objects to the figures given by Lufthansa, wants 15% on 12 months and better working conditions. (Ref. 090072)

cabin crew, which ended on December 31, the Ufo union cast no doubts upon its resoluteness.
