Germany: overtime to be included in short-time working benefits for truck drivers

The agreement reached with the representatives of the Federal Ministry for Employment and Social Affairs in mid-June was welcomed by the social partners who negotiated, i.e. the three largest employers’ federations in the sector (the German Forwarding and Logistics Association – DSVL, the German Haulage, Logistics and Waste Disposal Federation – BGL and the Federal Association for Economy, Transport and Logistic – BWVL) and the Verdi services’ union.
