Facing the criticisms of the Assembly of Länder (Bundesrat-see our article nº 6623), the coalition eased its initial bill "on equal treatment" (Gleichbehandlungsgesetz). The law, which restricts trade unions' right to file a complaint, was definitively adopted on June 29, 2006 by a vast majority at the Bundestag. (Réf. 06672)
