The German government adopted, on February 27, 2007, a decree enabling to transpose into internal law the EU directives on the protection of workers against noise and vibrations. (Ref. 070225)
By adopting a decree concerning the protection of employees against noise and vibrations, the government transposed into national law the EU directives 2003/10 – February 6, 2003 (noise) – and 2002/44 – June 25, 2002 (vibrations). “The federal government thus makes an additional step towards a humanization of work,” highlighted the Labour Ministry, indicating that it is acting against the most widespread musculo-skeletal troubles.
