The IG Metall is suspecting Siemens of financing a “home union,” the AUB, to limit IG Metall’s influence on the group’s employees: “we have evidence that Siemens financed the AUB to create a kind of counter-union to the IG Metall”, declared Jürgen Peters, leader of IG Metall, yesterday in Frankfurt. “Through this complaint, we want transparency to appear”, he specified.
