…Germany: the threat of a strike at the Deutsche Bahn is suspended till September 30
After a conciliation procedure, the Deutsche Bahn (DB's) management and the train drivers' union GDL agreed, on August 28, 2007, on the procedure to follow to settle their wage dispute (see our stories 70548 and 70613). Thus, the DB is going to negotiate in parallel, with the GDL for train drivers on the one hand, and with the majority unions Transnet and GDBA for all the other employees on the other hand.
