The German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and the General Association of Personnel Service Providers (GVP) have signed a new joint collective agreement for the temporary work sector, which employs around 750,000 people. An agreement on this text, which constitutes an amalgamation of two pre-existing collective agreements for the sector, was made necessary after the 2023 merger of the two major employers’ organisations in the sector, the Bundesarbeitgeberverband der Personaldienstleister (BAP)
