Early parliamentary elections are to be held in Germany on 23 February. As such, mind RH is presenting a summary of the measures concerning the world of work proposed by the main parties already present in the Bundestag or likely to enter it, and which may feature in a government coalition: the centre-right CDU and CSU, the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Greens, the Free Democratic Party (FDP), the radical left-wing Die Linke and the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD).

None of the issues mentioned in the table are at the centre of the election campaign, which is focused on limiting immigration and on the economic crisis, with the damage caused by inflation as a backdrop. However, a number of measures are appearing here and there in the debates, particularly as regards the shortage of skilled labour as well as extending working hours and making them more flexible.
