Extending flexible labour, flexible hours and telework. In 2003, the government had introduced the right to ask for flexible work for parents of children below 6 years of age and of young handicapped children below the age of 18. This right was then extended to people taking care of dependent adults. Today, 6.25 million parents can take advantage of flexible work measures.
