At the end of 2023 some 600 EU regulations currently in place in the UK will cease to operate. The UK government has just published the list of those destined to be abolished and recently announced a policy shift on the issue. The list covers a variety of areas including the environment, agriculture, aeronautics and politics. EU Directives addressing labour laws do not feature on the list, as yet. Instead, the government is first opting to follow the consultation route. The aim of this process,
