Youth salaries receive a boost. From 01 October, the minimum wage for all Britons under 25 will rise. Employees between 21 and 24 will see the hourly minimum wage rise from £6.70 (€7.86) to £6.95 (€8.15). The hourly rate for those aged between 18 and 20 will rise from £5.30 (€6.21) to £5.55 (€6.50).
