In the next 15 years, more and more seniors will want to work after 65, according to a study carried out by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), an organization which gathers human resources professionals. (Ref. 080075)
This study, carried out last December among a panel of 1.000 employees from 50 to 64 years old, shows that 38% of the people surveyed plan to continue working after 65, whereas only 11% of them feel this way at the moment. Another interesting figure: among the employees who do not want to work after 65, 31% would change their mind if their employer gave them flexible hours.
