Following her surprise announcement on workers rights on the evening of 05 March, UK Prime Minister Theresa May continued her efforts to woo support by way of a tweet on 06 March, ‘Great Britain has put in place the finest global standard for workers rights and will continue to do so after Brexit.’ This was then followed by an official government statement ensuring that not only would there be no erosion of current rights post Brexit but labor legislation would even be improved after the UK leaves.
