On September 25, 2008, in London, Brendan Barber, leader of the TUC, Janusz Sniadek, leader of Solidarnosc and Jan Guz, leader of the OPZZ, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at providing support on social matters to the thousands of Polish people working in Great Britain. (Ref. 080735)
This agreement, concluded for four years, mainly aims at providing support to Polish workers present on the British labor market and prevent social dumping. The agreement both concerns British people working in Poland and Polish people working in Great Britain, although the numerical difference is obvious.
