In its report, which blames the Ministry of Labour and Retirement and that of Finances, Ann Abraham, parliamentary mediator, underlines the “bad management” of the government, which “caused an injustice to many people, who thus failed to make well-informed choices for their future”. According to her, the government’s responsibility is involved insofar as it encouraged British employees to subscribe to company funds, but without correctly informing them on the risks incurred.
