The Unite union has passed a motion calling on the Labour Party to organize a referendum on maintaining the UK in the EU if it won the 2015 election. It’s the first time a major union has been in favour of a vote on the subject. The official goal isn’t to push for ‘Brexit’ but to give the Labour its chance of being elected.
