Reform to the right to strike is just one of several pieces of legislation that the Greek parliament has to vote on before the Eurozone Finance Ministers meeting on 22 January. Greece’s trade unions vigorously oppose this reform and have organized several mobilization actions to take place up to the vote, which takes place on 15 January.
On Monday 15 January Greece’s parliament has to vote in a reform of the right to strike which represents one element of a series of laws requiring adoption as stipulated by the country’s troika (ECB, EU, IMF) and as part of a third review of reforms the country has undertaken.
