On Sunday the radical left wing party Syriza won the Greek general election. With 36.34% of the votes his party gained 149 seats, less than the absolute majority necessary to form government on its own. However the size of the victory affords his party room for maneuver and he can rely on the Greek independents sovereign party (right wing) support to form a coalition.
