On 1 November, State Secretary for Employment Policy Sandor Czomba announced a 15% increase in the minimum wage from 1 December 2023, rather than from 1 January 2024 as had been planned. The wage level will rise from 232,000 forints (around €608) gross per month to 266,000 forints (around €697).
