The US e-commerce giant and India's labour and employment ministry have signed an agreement to combat the mismatch between supply and demand in the field of employment. Amazon will now publish all its job vacancies on the government's recruitment portal, through which it will also be able to search for candidates.
On 26 September, Amazon India agreed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Labour and Employment to use the government’s National Career Service (NCS) portal. This partnership, set initially to last two years, will enable candidates registered on the NCS to access all Amazon job vacancies published in one place.
