The EFBWW (European Federation of Building and Wood Workers) and the Building and Wood workers' International (BWI) organized a meeting in Lisbon on June 11-14, 2008, with the union representatives of several large groups from the building sector, including Bilfiger Berger, Bouygues, Eiffage, Hochtief, Strabag and Vinci. The objective was to build up international union networks in each group and coordinate their actions with the actions of the EWCs. (Ref. 080529)
The participants, from the European Union, Argentina, Hong Kong, Korea,
Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, Serbia and Togo, “agreed to build up trade union
