International: the international trade union confederation is setting up a “Pan European regional council”

The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) announced, on March 19, 2007, the creation of a Pan-European Regional Council (PERC) after a founding assembly in Rome. The creation of the PERC results from a resolution adopted at the ITUC Founding Congress in November 2006. John Monks, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), will serve as the new organization's General Secretary. (Réf. 070257)
