The fifth largest cement producer in the world, the Italian group Italcementi (23.000 employees), signed an international framework agreement with the Building and Wood Workers International (BWI), its Italian affiliates (Filca-Cisl, Feneal-Uil and Fillea-Cgil) and the EWC members. (Ref. 080528)
Through this thirteenth international framework agreement
(IFA) signed by the BWI, the Italcementi group commits to respect the ILO’s
fundamental rights at work – the freedom of association, the right to
collective bargaining, no forced or child labor and no discrimination in
employment.
