Italy: 3rd national congress of the CGIL’s “atypical” workers’ federation, Nidil

The 3rd national congress of Nidil (acronym for Nuove Indentità di Lavoro – New Labor Identities), organized, on April 8-9 in Perugia, ended with the re-election of the outgoing general secretary, Filomena Trizio. The Congress was prepared by 305 assemblies involving over 12,000 workers, showing that the CGIL’s atypical workers’ federation is growing since, between 2006 and 2009, it went from 28,521 to 41,843 members.
