Following a year of negotiations, on 03 May unions and management signed an agreement that intends to safeguard jobs and skills during AXA Italia’s upcoming restructuring and reorganization. The negotiations implemented the principles written into the European Framework Agreement that the insurance group had signed in 2011, in preparation of the changes.
In the agreement negotiated by AXA’s EWC, the social partners intend for various measures to safeguard jobs at AXA in Europe as well as assisting the group’s collaborators where jobs are also under threat by changes in the sector and at the company (c.f. article No. 110588). Thus was the backdrop against which the 03 May agreement was signed by Axa Italia and the Fisac Cgil, First Cisl, Uilca Uil, Fna, and Snfia unions.
