The rescue plan which was presented to the company's unions plans the repeal of the current collective agreements, regional mobility and major cuts concerning wages, leaves and rest. The trade unions rejected it, qualifying it of "intolerable". After a "break", negotiations should resume today. (Ref. 080669)
A company agreement for all employees and “with elements of discontinuity from the past.” This is how the CAI’s chief executive, Rocco Sabelli, presented the guidelines of the draft collective agreement to Alitalia’s nine unions (Filt-CGIL Fit-Cisl, Uil Trasporti, UGL, SDL, Anpac, UP, Anpav and Avia), gathered yesterday morning at the Ministry of Labor.
