Unicredit and then Deutsche Bank are the two latest firms that signed - both at the end of May - an agreement transposing the banking industry’s national framework agreement signed in April. That deal kicked off company negotiations to avoid remote control of workers that may take place with the application of measures on the circulation of information in the banking sector and the traceability of banking operations, produced by the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
Since remote control of workers is a possible side effect of measure No. 192/2011 produced by the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, which notably provides for the traceability of operators that access data belonging to banking clients, the businesses concerned by its application must include a preliminary union agreement*.
