Italy: Maschio Gaspardo Group signs agreement safeguarding jobs for the next three years

“We decided to reward our employees’ loyalty and commitment because, as our traditional slogan says, ‘Together Wins.’”  This is how Egidio Maschio, CEO and co-founder of Maschio Gaspardo*, presented the unprecedented “pact” signed o February 6 with the Unitary Trade Union Representation Bodies (RSUs), mostly CGIL affiliates, when signing the company agreement, which will be in force until 2015.  in this pact, Maschio Gaspardo officially secures, for the next three years, the jobs of the 600 workers employed by its Italian factories, located in Cadoneghe, San Giorgio delle Pertiche, Campodarsego (Padua) and Morsano al Tagliamento (Pordenone).  The CEO explained that his company was a “family of families, composed of people who have always believed in their work, not only as a right but also as a value, and who commit every day so that our brand can mean solidity and security.”  This advantage helped the company grow at global level, opening production sites in Romania, China and India without abandoning its Italian undertakings.
