Named TRIS (Tutele, Riqualificazione, Innovazione, Sostegno – Protection, Retraining, Innovation, Assistance), this solidarity fund was established during the week of February 12 by the Farmindustria and Federchimica employers’ bodies along with the Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, and Uiltec-Uil unions. The fund aims to prioritize youth entry to the world of work while also sensibly managing the issue of ageing workers via financing early-retirement, training and career change opportunities. This fund is the first of its kind in Italy.
