Censis’ 41st report points to “significant changes in conflicts” between 2005 and 2006 in Italy. According to the report, the number of collective conflicts went from 654.000 in 2005 to 545.000 in 2006. At the same time, the number of workers involved in a strike decreased by half (that is 416.249 in 2006 against 960.854 in 2005). Likewise, the number of strike hours went from 6.348.000 in 2005 to 3.144.000 in 2006.
