Italy: unitary agreement for the renewal of the collective agreement of Indesit Spa Group

After 18 hours negotiating, on July 19th, Indesit SpA and the National Coordination of Indesit Group unions – Fim-Cisl, Fiom-CGIL and Uilm-Uil – signed a unitary agreement for the renewal of the economic part of the Group’s collective agreement, which expired on December 31, 2009.  unions are extremely happy with this new agreement which “confirms and improves the structure of union relations in the group with a view to increasing participation, in order to quickly find joint solutions to the problems linked with labor organization and the quality of work” they said.  Signed until December 31, 2012, the agreement maintains the new regulations in the absence of a renewal.  Here are the key points of the agreement, which is going to be sent to the workers of the group’s Italian establishments.
