The trade unions of the Lidl and Kaufland retail chains based in Europe and the United States are joining forces to push for a global agreement between the parent company, the German multinational retailer Schwarz Gruppe (13,900 shops and 575,000 employees in 32 countries), and the international trade union UNI Global Union.
