On 28 June the government agreed to increase the minimum monthly wage by 10%, meaning that from 01 January 2024 the monthly minimum amount will rise from €840 to €924. This boost represents an increase in the hourly wage from €5.15 to €5.65 before tax. “This is the first time in five years that the Tripartite Council (representing the employers’ organizations, trade unions and the government), has agreed to increase the minimum wage,” welcomed Monika Navickiene, Minister of Social Security and
