Negotiations between the social partners should start at the beginning of December. They will deal with the increase of minimum wage and the improvement of working conditions. (Ref. 061185)

The Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) and trade union representatives intend to start, at mid-december, negotiations on salary increases and improvement of working conditions. This was a demand from the Lithuanian Confederation of Trade Unions (LDDK). Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas informed the trade unions, that employees’ demands, submitted to him by the participants of a protest meeting earlier in November, have been forwarded to the ministries of Finance and Social Affairs–
