The agreement signed on 25 November between the management of the Belgian retailer's Luxembourg subsidiary and the unions brings a number of improvements for employees. The agreement includes new bonuses and an extra day's holiday for employees aged 57 and over or with 30 years of service. It applies from 1 November 2024 to 30 October 2027.

With effect from 1 November 2024, the 680 employees of Delhaize Luxembourg benefit from new rights. The renewal of the collective agreement negotiated for three years between the company’s management and the unions (LCGB and OGBL) has been hailed by the latter as “one of the best in the retail sector”. The agreement offers new benefits, including

    • an improved end-of-year bonus of up to 115% of monthly salary, instead of 105%, subject to the previous conditions of absenteeism and warning;
