Luxembourg: employers commit to corporate social responsibility

The union of Luxembourg enterprises (UEL), the Grand Duchy's employers' organization, decided to promote a "true sustainable development culture" with the creation of the "National Institute for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility" (INDR) this organization includes a "corporate circle" with employers wishing to be involved in sustainable development. Through the INDR, the UEL wants to “promote a growth dynamic in all the economic sectors while respecting social, economic, societal and environmental interests”. The institute will have to “identify and propose transverse sustainable development concepts for corporate management” and “exchange in terms of CSR and sustainable development between companies”.
