Starting 01 July 2023, the Dutch legal minimum monthly wage for those age 21 and over will rise from €1,934.40 to €1,995.00 (+ 2%), irrespective of the number of hours per week that is worked (usually 36,38, or 40 hours depending on the sector and collective agreement). This 2% uplift follows the 4.2% boost applied on 01 January 2023 when the legal monthly minimum was raised to €1,934.40, albeit less than the 6.8% inflation rate. The minimum wage will also be raised by 2% for employees aged 20
