Netherlands: a quarter of Dutch workers are 50 and older
The number of workers 50 years old or more increased by 60 % in ten years. With 1,6 million workers, this age bracket now amounts to a quarter of the working population (23 %), compared to 16 % in 1996. Among people 50 and older, 37 % work at least 12 hours a week, compared to 28 % ten years ago. (Ref. 06455)
