Netherlands: Manpower is trying anonymous candidacy

The Manpower agency launched, on June 5, a national anonymous candidacies test, to favour the employment of immigrant workers. For six months, Manpower is going to offer to its customers willing to take part in this test candidates whose name is not revealed. Only their experience and their curriculum will be put forward. Manpower’s goal consists in placing 200 candidates from immigration. “shortages are worsening on the labour market, whereas there is an unexploited potential among immigrants”, thinks Hans Leentjes, Manpower’s manager in the Netherlands. This agency is the first which associated to a “Taskforce for Youth Employment”, which has gathered since 2005 several private organizations to find concrete solutions.
